Weddings at Cypress Bend
Menu Selections
These menus are designed to be used as a reference for ideas that will compliment your event. All food items will be served in a 2-hour time period. Groups of fewer than 75 will be accommodated at an additional charge. Cypress Bend Resort's Conference Center Staff welcomes this opportunity to assist you in fulfilling your conference planning needs and creating memorable events. In order to ensure the availability of selected items, your menu choices should be submitted to the Conference Services staff thirty days prior to the start of your function.
Guarantees
Final guarantee numbers are required 72 hours prior to the function date. It will not be possible to reduce the guarantee within the 72-hour period. If no final guarantee is received, we will consider the projected number from the original guarantee.
Tax and Service Charges
A customary 20% service charge and 8.625% Louisiana State Sales Tax will apply in addition to prices quoted on our wedding package menus.
Beverages
All beverage functions must be arranged through the Resorts Conference Services office. As a licensee, Cypress Bend Resort is responsible for abiding by the regulations enforced by the State of Louisiana regarding the sales of alcohol. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the premises from outside sources.
Meeting Rooms
Function space is assigned according to the anticipated number of guests for each event. Cypress Bend reserves the right to reassign function space accordingly due to attendance fluctuations. The resort also reserves the right to charge a nominal fee for extraordinary changes not conveyed in advance.
Deposits and Billing
Cypress Bend Resort requires an advance deposit on meeting room rentals equal to 100% of the rental charges as those charges are quoted. An initial confirmation deposit is required for all social functions, banquets and group guestroom charges. This deposit is 50% of the estimated function total cost and is nonrefundable. The remaining balance is due 72 hours prior to the date of the function. Alternate or direct billing arrangements must be made in advance through your Conference Services Manager in conjunction with our accounting department.
Theme Parties, Music, and Entertainment
Your Conference Services Manager can offer an array of service to enhance your event. Approval must be obtained in advance from the Conference Services office should you desire to procure you own entertainment. This policy is necessary to minimize sound conflicts of functions taking place in adjacent space. Arrangements for increased power needed for band equipment must be made 30 days in advance.
