Classification of Membership

The Club's membership roster will be limited to the number considered compatible to assure optimum enjoyment of the club by its members.

Founder Members will be designated as those Members who own qualified property within Cypress Bend (Founder Members may be entitled to reduced fees) . Charter Members are those who do not own property within Cypress Bend but do live in the State of Louisiana. Regular Members reside outside of Louisiana. A limited number of regular memberships will be offered.

Cypress Gold Membership

Cypress Gold Membership offers individual and family golfing privileges with no green fees, (pay cart fees only), advance tee times, range ball club, use of tennis courts (future), use of health and fitness facilities, indoor/outdoor swimming pools, spa (payment required for services of massage therapist, etc.), sauna, a 10% discount at all Food and Beverage outlets, Pro Shop and Gift Shop and special rates on guest rooms.

Cypress Silver Membership

Cypress Silver Membership offers the same privileges as a Cypress Gold membership, but this program excludes tennis, health and fitness facilities, pools, spa, and sauna. This is a Golf Only membership.

Cypress Bronze Membership

Cypress Bronze Membership offers the same privileges as a Cypress Gold membership, but this program excludes any golf privileges.

Junior Membership

Junior membership is available to individuals and families with the primary member being between the ages of twenty-one (21) and thirty-four (34). Initiation Fee and Monthly Fees are discounted (see schedule below). The member shall be entitled to all privileges of a Cypress Gold, Silver or Bronze membership. Upon his/her thirty-fifth (35) birthday, a Junior member must pay the difference between the initiation fees for a Junior Member and the initiation fees for the appropriate full membership in effect at the time of his/her acceptance as a full member.

Senior Membership

Senior Membership is similar to Junior Membership and is available to individuals and families with the primary member being age 60 and over. The member shall be entitled to the privileges of a Cypress Gold, Silver or Bronze membership. A current member will be entitled to discounted monthly fees upon reaching age 60. With club approval, the Seniors membership is transferable to an immediate family member only.

Corporate Memberships

Corporate Memberships are available and are similar to Cypress Gold Family memberships in privileges and benefits. One (1) to five (5) designees are required to apply for a Corporate membership. These Memberships are issued in the name of the Corporation, firm or office, and then assigned to an officer, executive or authorized employee for use. There shall only be one principle contact for each membership. Each designee may be changed from time to time, subject to approval of the new designee byt the Club's admissions committee and payment of the prevailing Change of Designee Fee (currently $100). Six (6) or more designees will entitle the corporation to a 20% reduction in the Initiation Fee.

• Certain membership discounts may apply to purchasers of qualified Cypress Bend Real Estate. Some Cypress Bend facilities are also open to the general public
• Billing is available, subject to Cypress Bend credit approval and credit policies
• The Cypress Bend Silver membership is designed for use at the golf facility only and does not include any privileges at the Conference Center or Hotel. A member may upgrade to full membership (if available) by paying the difference in cost at the then current price, subject to approval of the Admissions Committee
• The Cypress Bend Bronze membership is designed for use at specific Cypress Bend Hotel facilities only and does not offer full membership privileges. A member may upgrade to full membership (if available) by paying the difference in cost at the then current price, subject to approval of the Admissions Committee
• For this purpose, Family is limited to the member, spouse, and dependent children under age 25, all living at home with the Member.
• There may be other benefits through Cypress Bend's affiliation with Club Corporation of America. Check with the Membership Office for details.
• Cypress Bend reserves the right to change and revise the amount of initiation fees, dues, charges, rules, regulations, residency of property requirements and classes of memberships at any time. All members are subject to rules and regulations, as established from time to time by Cypress Bend. The Cypress Bend Resort membership committee is comprised of Resort General Manager, Head Golf Professional, Golf Course Superintendent, Club Membership Director and ALH Corporate representatives and reserves the right to return the Initiation Fee, if any, and to terminate, with or without reason, any individual or corporate membership at any time.
• Except for the Senior Memberships, these Memberships are not transferrable.
  
  Accompanied Guest Privileges
  
  • Within reason, accompanied guests of Members have complimentary use of the swimming pools and health club. Unaccompanied guests are not permitted.
  • All accompanied guests of Members pay only the prevailing special Member Guest rate for green fees, including shared cart fees (currently $35.00 Monday through Thursday and $45.00 Friday through Sunday, subject to change without notice). Unaccompanied guests pay regular posted rates.
  • All accompanied guests receive $30.00 per room off the published rack rate on lodging, based on availability. The Member must make the reservations for their guest for privileges to apply. Hotel credit policies apply.
  • These privileges do not apply to group or corporate business.
  • Initiation fees are a one time only assessment. Memberships are annual memberships and are automatically renewable as long as the member is in good standing with the Club. The membership year begins January 1 and concludes December 31 of the same year
