Cypress Bend Resort
is pleased to announce the Nature Trail is now OPEN!
Offered to
mountain bikers and hikers, there are 5 possible loop distances ranging from 1
mile to over 6 miles. The trail winds across and through diverse tight
and open forest sections, and even ventures lakeside to provide new challenges
with every turn. With over 190 feet in difference between the trails
lowest and highest points, to say the trail has noticeable elevations changes
is an understatement, so come prepared for a challenge of strength and
endurance when going hard-and some beautiful and natural scenery when taking it
easy. Located between two National Forests and boasting the highest point
in the visible eye-sight region Cypress Bend Resort’s Nature Trail is a true
challenge, especially the now legendary Loop 5, appropriately called Hercules
and boasting almost 1000’ of both ascent and descent!
