Cypress Bend Resort is located on the shores of Toledo Bend Lake, the largest manmade lake in the Southern United States and a renowned bass fishing destination. Bring your own boat or hit the waters with one of our guided fishing excursions led by local bass fishing experts.

Fishing Guides & Excursions
Get expert help hauling in that legendary bass for your fishing bucket list. We partner with local bass fishing experts to offer guided fishing excursions on Toledo Bend Lake. Spend a full day on the lake with a guide who is familiar with the area. These excursions include a boat, tackle and lures for your fishing trip. For a more relaxing experience on the water, enjoy a sunset cruise with stunning views of the sun setting on the lake. Boat Parking
As a fisherman-friendly resort, guests are welcome to bring their own boats. A number of parking spaces are available with plug-ins for overnight boat parking.
BIRDWATCHING & WILDLIFE VIEWING
The rich ecosystem created by Louisiana’s varied and usual terrain offer an ideal habitat for many native and non-native birds as they migrate through the area each year. State parks and national wildlife refuges across the state are haves for birdwatching and photography. Many rare, endangered and threatened species are found in Toledo Bend Lake Country, including the Bald Eagle, Red-cockaded Woodpecker, Waterbird Nesting Colonies and a variety of coastal shorebirds and migrating birds. Love hiking trails? Louisiana is home to a variety of native flora and fauna, unusual terrain and scenic views. There are over 600 acres of gardens and forest on the Cypress Bend Resort property, beckoning those who love the outdoors and are looking for the perfect place to be one with nature. Hike or bike along the winding nature trails that weave throughout the property, taking in the views of Toledo Bend Lake, native and popular Southern plants, trees, shrubs and flowers. You may even spot rare birds or wildlife along the path.
